APV – Panel Feeder/Stacker
In this case, it is a scissor table that lifts a stack of boards. Subsequently, a mobile arm equipped with suction cups grabs the top row of boards and moves it to a mechanism with pressing rollers to pull the row towards a belt or roller conveyor. After releasing the boards, the mobile arm returns to position to pick up the next row.

The MFE-150 Chain Feeder is designed to maintain a feed rate of up to 150 feet per minute for materials of fixed or varied lengths in a moulder.

Fonctionnement
A mobile arm equipped with a vacuum box picks up the pieces from the upper row and moves them to a pressure roller mechanism to propel them onto a roller conveyor. A broom before the pressure roller drops the sticks into a tray provided by the customer at the foot of the APV. After releasing the row of pieces, the movable arm returns to position to pick up the next row.
The chain side feeder is designed for feeding speeds up to 150 feet per minute of fixed or varied length material. The parts are automatically aligned on the infeed table by perpendicular rows of C2060 chains. A pneumatic system lowers the carriage from the chains between each feeding cycle preventing unnecessary side friction and material marking.
