- The J20 Horizontal Boring Machine is equipped with a steel table, vertically adjustable up to 2 ½" and a hydraulically actuated spindle carriage that moves back and forth.
- The spindle carriage slides over two hard chrome-finished guideposts. Drilling depth, up to 6 inches precisely, is set by micro switches, while spindle advance feed speed can be set by flow control valve. For added flexibility in the boring patterns, spindle and/or clusters are belt driven and powered by 1, 1.5 or 2 HP three phase motors 220, 440 or 600 volts / 60 cycles.
- Belt driven spindles and fixed center clusters, as well as hold-downs, are mounted on dovetail beams. Spindles can be moved to the exact position with the help of a scale fastened to the face of the dovetail beam.
- The J20 is available in 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 feet widths.
- The Basic machine includes: main body, a 12" wide adjustable steel table of lengths specified above, including 3 air-operated hold-downs with locator stops, hydraulic unit, electrical control system, cycle foot switch, dovetail beam and safety guards.
