The GANTRYX stacker/destacker is an automated material handling system that optimizes panel flow in woodworking production lines. Its 2 to 4 axis vacuum grip manipulator automates stacking and destacking at the infeed and outfeed of moulders, sanders, CNC routers, and other equipment, reducing manual handling, improving feeding consistency, and protecting surface quality at high cycle rates.
Characteristics & operation
Unlike mechanical clamps that can mark delicate surfaces, the vacuum grip distributes pressure evenly across the panel and adjusts suction to each material. Ideal for hardwoods, veneered panels, and pre-finished components.
The grip engages the top panel on the pallet or stacking zone, lifts it, carries it to the programmed position, and rotates it to enter the next station in the correct orientation. The operator selects the production mode; the GANTRYX runs the sequence automatically, cycle after cycle.
