Eggers Industries was facing prohibitive labor cost and serious injury exposure in its Edgebander Department. The company had to maintain a 4 person crew working around its edgebander to handle the weight of its 90 minute - fire rated doors. In spite of all that help, the process remained painfully slow and the risk of back injuries was not eliminated. |
In order to tackle these pressing issues, Eggers needed a Return Conveyor capable of handling flawlessly the long and short sides of parts 4” by 12” all the way up to 4’ X 10', weighing from 10 oz. to 400 lbs. Doucet expands its SRX Line of Value Clamp Carriers
Your "Best Value" Clamping Solution for panels, stair components, rails
and posts is now available in a wider variety of models and configurations.
The SRX Line offers you numerous advantages. The carriers are built on a heavy duty frame and are equipped with heavy duty clamps, rated to deliver up to 5,000 lbs. of clamping pressure. The SRX Clamps feature a hydraulic power unit for tightening and rotation offering perfect control over tightening pressure regardless of panel thickness. Its panel flattener and front rest are pneumatically actuated. The Clamps are now available in 6 to 20 section models and 8½ to 16½ foot capacity. Because they rely on a hydraulic system for these tasks requiring lots of energy, SRX Clamps consume no more than 3 c.f.m. of your compressed air.

The only ”true” Dowel less Miter Door Assembly System
The Doucet Door Master Assembly System offers you many unique characteristics that make it the most efficient and the most comprehensive Cabinet Door Assembly System on the market. The Door Master is equipped with ”brand name” double action cylinders and quick flow air valves. Its mobile horizontal clamp is equipped with an effortless positioning lever, assisted by a "pressurised gas spring".

“Dowel less” Miter doors are unforgiving when it comes to squaring and assembly. The forces applied to each corner must be perfectly calibrated in order to achieve the desired results. The Door Master Model SDM-Miter is the only Cabinet Door Assembly System featuring a highly responsive pressure compensation system working in conjunction with its double action cylinders. Once a door frame has been assembled, by activating the pre-clamping mode, the pressure in the inner and outer chambers of the air cylinders reaches a point of equilibrium. |

Joseph and Joel Kember and Emile Zmenak at Kultur Hardwood Flooring first went to Europe looking for the machinery they needed to bring their innovative product to market. While they found moulding machines and crosscutting saws in Germany, a wear layer saw in Great-Britain, scanners in Luxembourg and finishing technologies in Italy, they did not find laminating technology adapted to producing random length flooring the American Way. They also needed to integrate the machinery into a production line conducive to large scale production. |
They turned to Doucet’s Process Engineering Division to provide a HDF Preparation Line, a unique Laminating Machine with a Flying Cut-off Saw to deposit and bind the solid wood lamellas to the HDF core, a GPS End-Matcher to machine the Snap Joint on floorboard ends, and all the material handling devices and controls they needed to integrate their Machinery into a cohesive production line. Doucet also supplied most of the machinery included in the company’s Solid Wood Flooring Line.
