The electronic Operator lets you concentrate on the
preparation, placement and removal of panels on your
clamp carrier. Panel flattening, tightening of the clamps,
indexing the next forward section and loosening the
clamps occur automatically. This all happens while the
operator prepares to lay-up the next panels, cutting a two
man job down to a one man job without loosing efficiency.

Modular design for easy integration onto new or existing DOUCET SRH Clamp Carriers |
| DESCRIPTION |
 |
A 5 H.P. power unit complete with a 7 g.p.m. pump and adjustable flow control valves
for single operator – workstation systems |
 |
A 7.5 H.P. power unit complete with a 10 g.p.m. pump and adjustable flow control valves
for dual operator – workstation systems |
 |
An electrical control panel with the system’s programmable controller |
 |
A motorized bi-directional carriage mounted on a floor level
raceway in front of the carrier’s workstation, including:
- a self-centering, self-engaging hydraulically motorized
tightening and loosening tool
- a pneumatically retractable front rest to support the clamps
during loosening and tightening
- a dual pneumatic panel flattener working in conjunction
with the tightening tool
- sensors detecting the location of each clamp and the presence
of a panel to be clamped |
| OPERATION |
 |
The automatic routine includes tightening clamps to the pre-set
torque, by-passing clamps without panels, indexing the carrier to
the next available section and releasing the panel by loosening
the clamps as the carriage returns to its standby position. |
 |
Two tightening routines can be selected, sequential tightening
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 etc... or alternating tightening 2, 1, 3, 5, 4, 6 etc... |
 |
The automatic mode is complemented by action keys initiating part or all
of the sub-routines in manual mode |
 |
Programmable adjustment of the clamp's front to rear opening (on carriers with standard clamps only) |
