Typically used as an add-on module
to a transfer and/or return device in a sanding or a finishing
line, the Panel Inverter is designed for flipping panels up side
down, with an optional pause at 80° for quality inspection.
Panels up to 60" by 144" are
fed in a horizontal plane. A first set of arms raises the panel
to the 80° position, while a second set of arms meets the
other surface of the panel in a scissors like fashion. After
passing the 90° point together with the panel, the first
set of arms retracts to its receiving position, while the second
set of arms places the panel on the opposite side of the inverter.
Panel movement and transfer are controlled by hydraulic damper
to prevent product damage. The Panel Inverter can be hydraulically
or pneumatically actuated.
